PRINCETON, NJ — University maintenance, having missed the word “Green” in a university memo, accidentally built Saturday’s bonfire on Cannon Dial Elm Club instead of Cannon Green. The pile was built so quickly that the error was not realized until it had been built and set aflame. Cannon’s demise came roughly one year after its grand reopening following several decades of inactivity.
