Tupac’s Hologram Arrested

[Los Angeles] – Tupac’s hologram has been arrested in Los Angeles on weapons possession charges.

Special effects company Digital Domain developed the hologram for a special performance with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg at Coachella. The performance garnered much critical acclaim for its realistic and lifelike portrayal of the Tupac. The hologram was programmed to not only look and move like Shakur on stage, but to think and live like the late rapper/poet. Tuesday, the car Tupac’s hologram was riding in was pulled over by LAPD officers following an altercation in which shots were fired between that car and another unidentified vehicle.

Tupac’s hologram was in Los Angeles working on his forthcoming comeback album, but with these legal concerns, that project has been indefinitely put on hold.

Bail has been set at $10,000 and a preliminary hearing has been set for May 1st.

Tupac’s hologram has not spoken about the charges publicly and his lawyer declined comment, although a press conference with Tupac’s hologram has been scheduled for Thursday at 3 pm EST.
